Hayes Primary School is a Sun Safe accredited school, something we are very proud of, and something we know is so important especially with our current weather!

As part of our Sun Safe approach, we encourage pupils to seek shade, wear suitable clothing and hats, and use sunscreen when appropriate. We also promote the importance of staying hydrated and taking extra care during warmer weather.

This accreditation recognises our commitment to protecting and educating our pupils about the importance of being safe in the sun. We have been working to ensure that our children understand how to enjoy time outdoors while taking sensible steps to protect their skin and stay healthy.
