We are delighted to announce that Hayes Primary School has achieved the Silver Railway Safety Award!

This award recognises our commitment to helping children understand how to stay safe around the railway and develop positive, responsible behaviours when travelling by train or using railway crossings.

Through engaging activities and discussions, our pupils have been learning about important railway safety messages, including staying away from railway tracks, following signs and instructions, and understanding the dangers of trespassing.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their enthusiasm and excellent understanding of railway safety. Achieving the Silver Award is a fantastic accomplishment and demonstrates our school’s commitment to keeping our children safe in the wider community.
